Program Descriptions

Teen TalkLine — We offer teens an opportunity to talk to trained volunteers about important issues in their lives 24 hours a day.

Reassurance Calls to Seniors — We make brief "check-in" calls to senior citizens who are continuing to live independently with little or no daily contact with others. These daily calls provide reassurance and a reminder that there is a compassionate person who cares and is willing to listen.

Yellow Ribbon — The Yellow Ribbon Campaign raises teen awareness about depression and suicide. The program teaches teens to recognize peers who may need support.

QPR — QPR is designed to help you offer help to someone who may be considering suicide. QPR consists of three life-saving skills — how to: question a person about suicide, persuade them to get help, and refer the person to the appropriate resource.

Educational Programs on HopeLine Services, depression, and suicide, especially among teens.
